I recently came across a rec for this story so I re-read it and decided I should review here since the story really ougt to have more than no reviews.

It's really a wonderful story and, like some of your others, could be much longer to tell the same tale and it wouldn't be too much, at least if you wrote it.

I liked the juxtaposition at the start of Hermione's attitude compared to carefree Ron at the party.  The emotions all seemed spot on.

<i>He paced around her small kitchen. “Were you planning on telling me about this, or was it going to be another one of your secrets?”</i>

That line, in particular, was really good.  Just a little hint of problems they've had in canon, but it was nice that it wasn't some huge deal.  Leaving the end open was a great touch as well.
