Oh, my, you packed a whole lot of story into a relatively short piece. You created some really interesting imagery, with the dream and the war wounds. I just love Ron looking after his brothers. What a great piece.
Would you consider linking this with the readers at gryffindor_boys on LJ?
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing, I'm glad you liked the story. I've always liked the idea of the tables being turned and Ron being the one the others turn to. If you think people would want to read this story over at gryffindor_boys, then I'd be more than happy to have it linked there, although I don't think I'm a member of it?

Oh, the beautiful melancholy!
*is thrilled to the core of her angsty soul*
I know it's the question most author's hate, but here I am asking it: Is this a one-shot, or the beginning of something bigger?
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your lovely review, there's nothing like an angsty story and a lovely review to brighten the day! This story was a one-shot I'm afraid. I had some ideas to take it further but I wanted the unanswered questions to link in with the fact that nothing can be really ended with a nice neat 'happy' ending...that there'll always be questions and queries and angst filled moments. I'm so glad you enjoyed reading this short tale, and thank you so much for taking the time to review.

The mood was perfect. the words so haunting. I you really captured the trauma of war. No, happy endings don’t happen, sometimes we can make do with an ending and make peace with that. It seems to be that is what Ron and Percy are struggling to do. You really used emotions amazingly well. Every one had emotions and true feelings. I really love your work.
Author's Response: I'm so glad you like the story and thank you for your lovely review! It's the struggle to find some peace that always intrigues me and I'm so glad that came across on screen. Thanks again.
