That was surprising and delightful. I am impressed by your incorporation of canon and the complexity of emotions you portray. I just had to wipe away a tear, and it was one of those wonderful tears of poingancy that only the very best stories can bring forth. Thank you, for a wonderful and memorable tale, complete with laughs and angst and fulfillment. (And, yes, the sex was hot too!)
Author's Response: Thank you so much for saying such nice things. I'm really happy you enjoyed it, and thrilled I was able to convey the emotions like that for you.

What an interesting and surprising fic. I enjoyed it very much. I'm no snarry reader, but found this to be believable and touching. I surprise myself by liking it so much, in fact. You did a wonderful job describing the cottage and the surroundings. Even though he did not paint in Wales, I kept picturing everything as though it were painted by Van Gogh. Thanks for sharing this.
Author's Response: That is about the best feedback a Snarry-er could want -- knowing you took a chance on a pairing you usually don't read and that you actually enjoyed it is a thrill. Thanks for taking the leap and for leaving such a nice review. I really appreciate it.
