I feel as if I should be a bit appalled at the bit of this story where Arthur has a gander at the two lovers. I'm not, though. You tackled an awkward situation and made it just fine. I think George coming into the kitchen and facing things head on with a joking remark is what really makes your piece great. I love Arthur's whole thought process, watching, (reading,) the gears turn in his head. Percy's reaction was probably very accurate, and it was good that Arthur held him back, didn't let Percy get himself all riled up.
I laughed out loud several times during this. It's very well written, if I haven't said that yet. I think Arthur will do a fine job of letting Molly know about George and Lee. (But, I agree with him, she probably doesn't need to know the details of how Arthur came by his insight! laughing) And thanks for the wintry setting. I love snow.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! Lol, yes, you probably should be appalled at Arthur spying on his son having sex. And actually, I could've made it a helluva lot filthier (I certainly have in the past), but I wanted this to be a sweet story of George finally finding a little bit of piece in the world, and of Arthur proving what an awesome dad he really is. And Percy, bless him, he's excellent for comic relief. Thanks so much for the great review!
