"Severus resented the attack on his umbrella" -Beautiful.  I think you summed Snape up in that one snippet.

I'm pleased that you gave Wormtail the treatment you did.  Traitor.  Truly a traitor and a coward.  That's one of many things that differentiate him from Snape's own traitorous actions.  Snape was an honorable traitor.  In the long run, at any rate.

You've done a great job of capturing the complexity of Sirius Black, here.  He's whimsical, he's got a childlike sense of fun, he's clever, but also has a bullying side and can be simply mean.  I'm glad he's not perfect.

Snapes simple 'I'm sorry' to Charity Burbage was perfect.  There was nothing else that could so honestly shown his feelings about the circumstances of her death.  I think it would have been very healing to have been able to give her the rest of the tale.  What she would have known had she lived.  That was a compassionate touch.

I'm enjoying this so much.  I look forward to your next update.

Author's Response: I really love building characters, and Sirius is a favorite one, so I'm glad you think I've gotten him. And that the thing with Charity worked out well. Thanks, and I'll try to crank out some more soon!

Surrealism, Jung and Freud, and now NOVA?  You are quite an intriguing author.  I've seen The Elegant Universe.  Brilliant bit of work.  Even a nonscientific human such as myself could follow and learn.  But, I'm not hear to discuss NOVA.

I found so many things that just made me laugh in this chapter!  Severus telling Bellatrix that he had betrayed Tom Riddle and contributed to his downfall was all fine and dandy.  Then you had him add that he had done so with pride.  That was funny, but when you further tacked on that he had said this spitefully, well, then it became really funny!  Snape calling Bellatrix a "wretched inbred" was rich!  And when she denied it and he calmy answered "yes, you are."  That was just brilliant!

It was nice to see Dumbledore with Gellert.  Having them watching Maury Povich was inspired!  I'm off to see what the third chapter brings.

Author's Response: Thank you! :) I'm glad you think so and that you've enjoyed this chapter (and the bits of the last one you hadn't noticed before!). The Elegant Universe has to be one of my favorite documentaries.

I read this again, just to sort of catch myself up before moving on, and because I enjoyed the surrealism so much the first time.  After you responded to my last review, I went off and had a look at Oppenheim's fur tea setting.  Thanks!  That was a new thing for me.

Last read through, I don't think I caught this, ""Sigmund! You must come by for tea with Carl!"  That was subtley brilliant!  Bravo!

This is completely surreal!  I truly admire your ability to accomplish this with a believable flow.  Whenever I have tried to do something similar, (mostly for a story for a child,) I find myself mired in realism and everything comes out stilted rather than natural.  You have a terrific imagination!

Author's Response: Thank you! I did try, lol. I have an immense love for Dada and Surrealist art, so that helped a lot. This while thing was inspired by Oppenhiemer's Luncheon in Fur, actually.
