I like your original plot and this point of view on the post-war time.

When I first read the summary, I thought "Ick, another Dramione!"  I'm so glad I actually read this one-shot.  The critisizims of each other's children as well as the reactions of their respective spouses were, in my opinion, pretty accurate to how I imagined their reactions to be.  Malfoy thinking of Rose as a possible gold-digger; Hermione thinking of Scorpius as very much like his father and grand-father...perfection!

Great job.Not being a parent myself it always cracks me up how parents can see all the faults in other people's kids but fail to see or think of flaws in their own kids.

This is really great! I love how they are both assuming that the other's child is spoiled and pampered...the parallel there is really great. I'd love to see a follow up from you where the kids contemplate their parents' position /attitudes on their relationship. Very nice! :)

What intersting reflections.  I like that you've delved into the more serious consequences of these two having a relationship.  (And I appreciate the spelling of Asteria!)
