I had started to despair of finding another moving, beautifully written HP fic... and then I checked on your writing. WOW. I always loved what you wrote, and this strides right up the list. You have a beautiful gift with characterization, with drama and setting, and with a depth of emotion so sensitively and powerfully conveyed. Thank you for sharing it.
Author's Response: Aw, thank you so much for the generous comment. I got a very negative comment (elsewhere) on this fic, but I've convinced myself that it was a case of author/reader preference mismatch, and so to get comments like this still trickling in, I still feel really good about this piece. :)
