I thought the science sounded good. (Admittedly, I'm more of a liberal arts person, but...) I love the relationship between Rose and Albus. McGonagall and Rose's interaction with her were both spot on, I think. Nice work!

Nice start, keep writing !!!
I enjoy reading of empowered female characters, brilliant, strong willed, stuborn and not be be bossed around or toyed with.
I always think of Rose as having more of Ron's character (and consquently Hugo as more of Hermione's). Rose=Ron; Hugo=Hermione. We know from canon Rose is as bright as her mother and with Ron's better character traits she shoud be irresistible to an intellectual like Scorpius (if you intent to write him that way).
Scorpius is a prat but he will come round as soon as he is dragged along Rose in that adventure you are planning. They will need each other and seem to complement each other much like Ron and Hermione.
I often imagine the older Draco as being the type of guy that wants to get laid with all the girls, at least those belonging to Slytherin house. Unfortunately canon has very little of Draco other than what we get from Harry. So perhaps your Scorpius is a lot like his father is this respect?
I am definitely looking out for more from you ...
