I really love this story you stayed true to the characters identities which I feel is quite important. I was also impress how much feeling and emotion was put into this story. Please write more about Hermione and Ron, maybe a story about when they have kids and their life as a family. Keep writing I am a huge fan of your works.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review
I try my best to keep the characters in character, so thank you. Weddings are an emotional time, and I’m certain that Harry would want to do his best for his two best friends. I tend to concentrate on Harry and Ginny, but both The Question and Conceptions are Ron/Hermione stories and there will be more.

Just to clarify, I did not miss the "anvil-sized hints." I knew they would end up together, just as I knew Harry and Ginny would...but that didn't stop me from hoping it wouldn't be so obvious and so trite. Alas, it is not my story. And as I said, your story was very well-written. My comment about "great speeches" was actually about yours, as I thought the speech you gave Harry was quite articulate. (I also admit to cheering at the recent news that JKR almost killed off Ron...so close!)
Author's Response: Saheed
Your “trite” is my “much loved cliché”. JKR fills her story with them. IMO there is little more clichéd than Ginny running after the Hogwarts express waving in PS, or her shyness, clumsiness and subsequent rescue by Harry in CoS.
And I prove that I still can’t spot a compliment when I see one. Thanks. I hope that the speech was as articulate as Harry could manage. It was deliberately rambling and occasionally nostalgic, but then Harry isn’t a great and witty public speaker.

Well done! I just love Ron and Hermione and I have always thought they were a great couple. Ron has always been my favorite character of the books.
Author's Response: Thank you. JKR created some brilliant, but flawed characters especially in Ron and Hermione. Harry is my favourite, but I like them all, even the nasty characters. -N-

Very well written story. I really liked the Harry-Ginny interaction. For the life of me, however, I will never understand why an accomplished witch like Hermione would choose such a loser as Ron (ugly, poor, disloyal, stupid--need I say more?). No great speeches will convince me, either.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
I’m sorry you managed to miss JKR’s “anvil-sized hints”.
I won’t make a great speech. Not all blokes are rich and good looking, I know I’m not. I like to think that we may have other redeeming qualities (and in Ron’s case, so does JKR). I could, but won’t, argue with ugly. Poor should be irrelevant. He’s neither stupid nor disloyal. He made a mistake, but returned to try to put things right. Something which, I’m certain, Hermione has the brains to recognise.
I’m canon to the core and all of my stories fit into one complicated timeline. Most of my stories are Harry/Ginny, with a smattering of Ron/Hermione. I will also admit to an unhealthy obsession with Lavender Brown. You have been warned :-D
