I came here via a rec on madam_minnie's LJ, and I'm so glad I did. Your use of second person is amazing here. I love how we can feel Seamus's heartache so palpably. What makes it all the more heartbreaking is the fact that Dean's relationship with Ginny is so real--something fanon tends to forget.
I also like how the feelings don't seem gratuitous at all. What bothers me about a lot of non-canon pairings in fic is that the relationship between two best friends tends to be sexualized for the sake of teh hot, and this wasn't about that. This was about unrequited love, pure and simple.
Wow...I uh, kind of rambled on. Sorry about that! :P Anyway, loved it. Lots.
