The ending was too funny. I like how Harry warmed up to the idea and really enjoyed himself. I was thinking, however, that after that for a first time, I hope he isn't too disappointed when he is just with one other person.
Summary: After three years of war, Hermione just wanted a nice, normal, peaceful Christmas, starting with baking biscuits the way she did when she was a child. Her mother’s lack of faith in her baking abilities was not going to deter her and a surprise visit from her boyfriend was not going to distract her. She was going to bake those ruddy biscuits if she had to burn the house down in the process. After all, how hard could it be? Wow. I am sitting here surrounded with tissues. This is so amazing, so insightful and heartbreaking. I loved the image of the family sitting together, but so numb that they can't reach out for each other. And the funeral scene in Ginny's dream was heartbreaking as well, in its accurate portrayal of people dealing with such a shock. Also, the way you weaved the present with the past memories was well done. Good job!

You struck a very good balance between humour and sappiness for this chapter. Also, I found the whole lead up to the wedding to ring true. This has been a wonderful story (and I am LOVING the Glass Onion) and I am sorry to see its end, but I do hope we get to see some of their honeymoon...could make for an interesting story.
