Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1- Forcibly Taken
Ok this fic is a hard one to read, you have portraited the trauma and violation of being raped and emotionally abused well. Thank you because sometimes writers take the fluffy road towards it and there is nothing fluffy about rape. It's an un-welcomed invasion to a person.
I do have question such has, will she be pregnant with that bastard and will she abort, was he on a potion or something. She has already suffered so much that a child by this monster would be just too damn much for her. I know she will carry scars both physically as well as emotional ones for life but since i love R&HR and i do believe that people in these times can overcome their fears and be happy with someone. It takes time, patience, trust, commitment on both people but it can be done so i hope you don't kill one of them or make this a sad story in the end.
Everyone deserves happiness and even more those live in such hard times like Hr does. Since you describe things so well i look forward to knowing if you will and if so how will you write their first time together. It would be such a positive note to see them make it after all this pain and i'm sorry for saying all of this but since you mentioned that this isn't fluffy piece (and it's not indeed) i'm scared that you won't give this couple the happiness they deserve.

Author's Response: Hi Sandra! Thanks so much for making it through that last chapter and then taking the time to review! It really means a lot to me when people give me their honest thoughts and opinions.
I'm glad that, depite how dark the rape and emotional abuse is, you can appreciate why it needed to be that way. I wouldn't be me, nor would I be genuine, if I tried to be any less honest about how horrific rape is.
All of your pregnancy questions will be coming up, and you will get answers. Regardless of the outcome of that dimension, yes there will be overwhelming emotional scarring. It is simply unavoidable, which is very true-to-life for rape survivors. I can only promise you that both of them will survive and live to see the end of the fic (it's the first of the planned series, so they need to!).
The fic is going to have an ending that is appropriate to the material and fitting with the tone, but it won't end with despair. As I mentioned above, it is the first in the series, so things will continue to develop and progress beyond just "Wake Me" and the constraints of this fic.
Please, don't apologize at all for asking questions and letting me know things that you would like to see. I genuinely welcome your comments and love to see that you have thought so much about it- truly, it is very flattering. Thanks again for everything!

Author's Response: I forgot to put this above- yes, this isn't a fluffy piece AT ALL, but I'm not going to prolong the suffering without need. You can still hold out for a happy ending, but it will just be a little ways off... I hope that gives you enough to abate your concern about them not being happy in the end! :o)
