Date: 06/14/2007 Title: Chapter 25: What Do I Do?
They're just all so...broken. Ron, Draco,Harry...all of them. It will be fascinating to see how you put them all back together again.
Author's Response:
Ron will be getting it together...for him, this has the been the day he stopped living entirely in the past...and the next chapter will peel away a little of whats going on for him. Draco is a serious mess, but he'll be getting the help he needs to believe in himself now, and as for Harry, he may have just finally found a purpose higher than killing Death Eaters :-)

Date: 06/17/2007 Title: Chapter 26: The Long Night Through
...a passive human teddy bear....Lovely. Wow, this feels like a huge step for these boys. All of them. Ron and his sculpture (how nice. This is the first time anyone I've read has given Ron artistic talent!), Harry letting himself be held, Draco touching anyone. His confession about his feelings was heartbreaking, and completely understandable. This story feels like a particularly well realized novel; you're taking your time putting these former enemies together, and the pace just feels right.
Author's Response: Very much so.. this chapter kind of closes the first third of the story, and sets the stage for the second third, where the full plot develops and becomes clear. Everyone is moving forward with their personal problems, making progress, and now we move to the new round of obstacles :-) So much to come :-) Peace, and hugs, Samayel

Date: 06/18/2007 Title: Chapter 27: In The Morning Brighter
I want Dula to come to my house and make crepes! And I love the visual of Harry, sleeping on top of the blankets, with Draco clinging to him. Lovely.
Author's Response: I had to write about crepes after dining in a true french crepery in San Francisco. Real French chefs making any kind of crepe you can imagine :-) MMMM ...Thanks Love!!! (More goodness to come between Harry and Draco...the secong thrid of the fic sees them solidifying as a couple!) Peaces, Sam

Date: 06/20/2007 Title: Chapter 28: Confusion, Confections, Confessions, And Comprehension
Again, I adore Dula. He's the perfect counterpoint to what is going on around him. This chapter is a bit like a glimpse of sun, after so much overcast. There's hope here, and it glimmers after so much pain.
Author's Response: Even Dula can screw up...as we shall see shortly, but he fills arole I needed desperately for this fic...someone Draco could identify with and admire safely, and take inspiration from without a romantic attachment. A perfect neutral party, with the capacity to help and advise when needed :-) I am just tickled pink that my first OC is well liked :-) More hope to come too!! Peace, Samayel

Date: 06/21/2007 Title: Chapter 29: The Forbidden And The Fantastic
Okay, so maybe Dula scared him a little. But you know, the bloody horcruxes really are a pretty frightening, squicky plot device, and his reaction is understandable. Nice of Ron to send the tickets. But the best part? Harry and Draco have a date!
Author's Response: You understand very well :-) To people who aren't like harry, in other words, non-heroes, the concept of Horcrux is just damn scaery!! and rightly so! Still...cool stuff and scary stuff to come!!! Enjoy, Samayel

Date: 06/25/2007 Title: Chapter 32: Dangerous Revelations
Okay, sorry I've been slow to review.
Dammit, I knew Harry must be a horcrux when his eyes turned red that time! Argh! What a complication. Now, about that feather....
Author's Response: Oh yeah...that feather means its time to get Draco a wand that rocks :-) Plus, Draco will be starting believe in himself just a little more as we go :-) Draco has no idea about the red eyes, or he'd have this figured out right quick...but we know whats really wrong with Harry!

Date: 06/26/2007 Title: Chapter 33: Everything And Nothing
Gah! Their relationship is so tangled...and yet so tender at the same time. I love Draco's excitement over the feather, and Harry's offer of the wand. I love that the twins are willing to give Draco a chance, and that Harry has decided to hand this particular assignment off. And I love him telling Draco never to refer to himself as ugly again. God, men like this should be bottled and sold!
But, is Dawlish just an idiot? I mean, it's pretty clear that the Ministry knows what Harry is capable of, and this little shit thinks that he can handle him...alone? Duh.
Author's Response:
Very tangled, full of tip toe caution and uncertainty, aching to start, and terrified of what may come :-) As for dawlish...oh yes...he is a complete idiot! He becomes comic foil material a little later :-) Enjoy love!! Sam

Date: 06/28/2007 Title: Chapter 34: Understanding…And Misunderstanding
Okay, the section with Arthur was hilarious. A really clever and intelligent salute to the double entendre. I enjoyed this a lot.
Author's Response: Thank you :-) I grew watching 70's sitcoms, which used those so often that it was sickening (especially Three's Company) and some of that rubbed of a bit :-)

Date: 07/01/2007 Title: Chapter 35: A Lesson In Creative Coping
Okay, the horse shit is classic! And I'm with Draco; the perfect response to a horses ass!
And how much of Harry's rage is guilt over handing the tip to Tonk's to begin with?
Author's Response: lol...Harry's rage is very much tied to having let Tonks go off and nearly get killed. The subject of loved ones and friends in danger is a touchy one for Harry, and will remain so for quite awhile. More to come, love! Peace, Samayel

Date: 07/17/2007 Title: Chapter 39: It's Just Life
What a lovely description of a first kiss. Hesitant, awkward, ultimately perfect.
I love this story, Sam. I love the pace, the depth of the character developement, everything. I'm sorry I haven't reviewed earilier; I've been trying to get some things of my own finished before Deathly Hallows. But you should know that you are almost solely responsible for the fact that I am now writing a lot of Harry/Draco, and this story is the reason.
Author's Response:
Perfect in its imperfections. Thats how I remember mine, almost twent years later, still one of the most breathtaking moments of my life ;-)
Its okay love ;-) Review happen when they happen, and I love it when they do, but when they dont thats okay too :-) I gotta read some of this new stuff. It might bee another week or so before I have a large quantity of free time again, but when I do, watch out. Peace and Love, Samayel

Date: 07/22/2007 Title: Chapter 43: Winding Down...And Winding Up
Okay, this was perfect! Wonderful, with a sense of innocence, and sexy as hell. This is probably more arousing than lots of fics I've read with naked thrusting and grunting. This was lovely, sweet, gentle. Just as one would hope it would be for these two damaged souls. You've built up to this gradually, with great care, and it is totally believeable. Bravo!
Author's Response:
Thats the idea ;-) I like the feel and pace of two very screwed up people finding their way together...slow, cautious, nervous, and ultimately so much more fulfilling because of the effort it took to make it that far ;-)

Date: 07/28/2007 Title: Chapter 48: Pride And Prejudice
Lovely. Their so tentative, they make me ache. I love this story!
Author's Response: As we draw a little closer to the endzone, they get closer and closer, warmer and fuzzier with every step...except when I throw the eoccasional wrench into the works ;-) Cuz I'm naughty that way :-)

Date: 10/31/2007 Title: Chapter 69: Redeem Me: An Epilogue
Dearest Sam, I've looked at all of the beautiful art that you linked, and see the people that you've inspired, and I feel like I have to add myself to the list. You left me the first review I ever recieved in fandom, right here at the Quidditch Pitch. I went in search of the end of this story, which remains one of my all time favorites, and became a convert to writing H/D because of you. I have now found myself a wonderful second home archiving at The Hex Files, also because of you. I am completely hooked on Big Chicago, and Echoes of Yesterday breaks my heart, and The Office remains a huge favorite. I think I've read everything at Hex at least once, and I have to tell you, because of you I truly do believe that I'm a better writer. So, without slobbering on you any further, Thank You. For the fics, for the kind words, for everything. Much love, Barbara
Author's Response: Hard to put a respionse into words here ;-) Those are the words any person writing would want to hear. To pass on inspiration and a hunger to create...I have no words for what that means to me . Thank you...from the bottm of my heart. Thank you

Awwwww! You know, I'm not a big mpreg fan, but this is really good, and the prophesy is perfect!
Author's Response: lol...me either, but I had a request once to try an Mpreg, so I gave it a spin. I do like irony and sneaky prophecies, so I blended it into that to make it more palatable :-) Glad you liked it anyway :-)
