Awww. This was so sweet.
So Ron’s surprise was unparalleled when Harry Potter turned out to be a skinny, lonely, shabbily dressed little thing with broken glasses, wild hair, and frightened eyes.
I love this characterization of Harry. It's spot on, and I love seeing Harry through other people's eyes - especially his Ron's eyes.
Harry had chosen him.
Of course he did! He's his Wheezy!
Author's Response: thanks so much for your kind words! i appreciate how you pointed out what it was you liked the best. thank you very much!

Well, to quote a brilliant fan fic author,
“Now why don’t you finish what you’ve made such an amazing start on!”
This story BEGS to be continued ... Pretty Please???
Author's Response: wel, if THAT is not a compliment, i don't know what is! **blushes** thank you so much, but i'm afraid there won't be a follow up to this story. each story from my 50 word prompt table is a stand-alone. but thank you so much for your kind words! ^_^

Awwww. That is so sweet and so sad!
"His stars just manage to glow even when the Sun is out, and with that hair, he carries the Sun with him, anyway." - so sweet and beautiful.
"Hermione brushed the fringe back from Ron’s forehead, and I felt anger and jealously flare up in me, and heard a voice that screamed, “MINE!” ..... I am afraid that one day, he will turn to Hermione and brush back a strand of her hair in return." -- the unrequited love and the fear is so sad.
Very nicely done.
thank you very much! this was a difficult prompt for me because i hate seeing the boys parted in any way. i also hated seeing hary just sort of left in the lurch, as it was. but sometimes you just have to let the muse take you where she wants.
thanks again for such wonderful comments! :D

Wow. You've really captured the Monarch here, in such a unique way. And it totally fits with our duo here.
Author's Response: thank you so much, kosh! i wanted this one to be metaphorical, and the monarch seemed to fit them. i adore nature and watch its patterns carefully. humans (not even wizards) are as far removed for Her cycles as we would like to think. thank you so, so much! (((HUGS U and HUGS U)))

Yeah, Ron! He's so wise and he hardly ever gets his dues. I'm a bit annoyed with Harry though...
"...you just want the big stuff to happen now so it’ll be done and over with.”
Actually he reminds me of...well me. Just get it over with, egads. Well done.
Author's Response: hehe! sometimes i'm like harry and sometimes i'm like ron. in this, i just wanted harry to finally stop an *appreciate what he has. i don't think he often does that. it's a lesson we all could learn. i know i certainly need to. thanks again so very much, kosh. you are such a dear, dear friend!

Not sure what to say to something like this. So much of it is so very framiliar, and real. You've turned an incredibly powerful ache into a beautiful moment between these two.<>You are an incredible writer. * hugs you tight *
thank you so very much. so much of it (far too much of it!) is familar and real to me as well. realism is what i was going for, so for someone to call it real makes the effort all worth the while. thank you so much!
*hugs us so tight right back!*
