That was an interesting piece.  It was well written, and created a good scene.  I am curious as to a little more background on the injury, why she's so isolated from her friends, etc. 

I like the open-ended ending.  Not every story needs to have a neat little wrap up.

This was just absolutely BRILLIANT!  I'm not usually a fan of crossovers but this was just such an amazing piece of fiction!  I sincerely hope that you might be inspired to add to the story because it is so intriguing and well written.
